About ALCJA
The
Alliance of Campus Journalists and Advisers was first
thought of by the group of advisers and student representatives from
DLSU-Manila, DLS-CSB, DLS-Lipa,
DLS-Araneta and DLSU-Dasmarinas
during the planning sessions of the Lasallian Schools Press Conference
2006.
Randy Torrecampo, Head of the Student Publications
Office of De La Salle – College of St. Benilde addressed the need
to form a body that will be in charge of training and research on
journalism for the schools to have a uniform and comprehensive training
on campus journalism.
The Event
Lasallian Schools Press Conference 2009 (LSPCon2009) will be held on May 7-9, 2009, Rizal Hall at De La Salle Araneta University.
The Theme of the event is Environmental Journalism: A Hearth of Change.
"A heart for the Mother Earth will engender humonguos metamorphoses not only to the diverse entities but also to the humanity."
This event will be participated by different Lasallian schools.
